She`s No Princess on takuuvarmaa Guhrkea ilman loistoa. Aikaisemmin hän on luonut epätavallisia ja epäsovinnaisia juonia, jotka ovat aiheuttaneet ainakin minussa laajempiakin pohdintoja. Nyt oli vuorossa varsin perinteinen historiallinen romaani, jossa kuitenkin oli aimo määrä laadukkuutta. Sankaritar oli ehkä hieman nuorempi Guhrken aikaisempiin kirjoihin verrattuna ja se tietenkin näkyi tiettynä epäkypsyytenä ja ajattelemattomuutena. Mutta toisaalta kukapa meistä ei vetäisi pieniä pultteja, jos kaukainen isä määräisi meidät löytämään aviomiehen itsellemme kuudessa viikossa? Eikö tietty määrä itsekeskeisyyttä ole tuossa tilanteessa sallittua? Kaiken kaikkiaan kirja on lumoavan lämmin tarina siitä, miten kunnollisen ja velvollisuudentuntoisen britin ja intohimoisen ja tunteellisen italialaisen maailmat törmäävät yhteen ja mitä kaikkea siitä seuraa.
