Olen suuri Shannon McKenna-fani kahden luetun kirjan perusteella. Tämä oli kolmas ja odotukset olivat tietenkin kovat. Juoni kuulosti niin kiinnostavalta, että ostin sen e-kirjana. E-kirjamuodossa ei ollut takakansitekstiä, joten ylläoleva takakansikuvaus on otettu Amazonin sivuilta. Kirja oli tuttua McKennaa: alpha-miehiä, kuumaa seksiä ja jännitystä, mutta jokin mätti. Kirja sisälsi kolme novellia, joissa kukin sisar löysi oman alpha-miehensä. Itse pidin eniten keskimmäisestä novellista, vaikka tuntuikin, että samat asiat toistuivat novellista toiseen. Ensimmäisessä novellissa sankari ei usko sankarittaren pystyvän sopeutumaan hänen naisihanteensa ja elämäntapaansa. Toisessa novellissa sankari ei usko rakkauteen ja kolmannessa novellissa sankari ei usko sankarittaren pystyvän sitoutumaan. Varsinkin ensimmäisen ja kolmannen novellin rakkaustarinat muistuttavat toisiaan voimakkaasti. Minulle tuli jopa tunne, että luin harlekiineja, enkä tarkoita tätä mitenkään positiivisessa mielessä. Mutta kyllä kirja ihan hyvä oli, ei vain missään nimessä McKennan paras.
