Tämä kirja on polttavan kuuma. Mieli tekisi sanoa, että sarjan paras osa tähän mennessä. Edellinen osa jäi hieman tasapaksuksi, mutta nyt sarja lähti taas aivan uudelle tasolle. Tapahtumat vyöryivät eteenpäin ja kaiken keskiössä oli kaksi nuoruuden rakastavaista, jotka kohtalo ja juonitteleva tarinan pahis oli aikoinaan erottanut toisistaan. Nyt nämä sielunkumppanit tapaavat uudelleen ja taistelu yhteisen tulevaisuuden puolesta voi alkaa. Andreaksen tuska ja sisäinen taistelu vangitsevat lukijan ja loppuratkaisu on todella unohtumaton. Kirja jätti monia kysymyksiä seuraavaan osaan Shades of Midnight, joka odottaa jo onneksi kirjahyllyssä. Innostuin jopa vierailemaan kirjailijan internet-sivuilla ja sain tietää, että sarja jatkuu (ainakin) kolmella osalla tämän jälkeen. Ne kiinnostavimmat soturit on tietenkin säästetty viimeisiin osiin. Haluaisin jo nyt lukea Chasen ja Hunterin tarinat, mutta ennen niitä "täytyy" lukea Kade ja Brock alta pois.
